My Favorite Tools

Here are some of the tools I use in my design and development workflow.

Adobe Creative Suite

The graphic design and photo-editing power house. I mostly use the big three—Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign—but also use other apps in the suite as needed.

Figma

I use Figma to design prototypes and flows for web and mobile apps. Great for collaboration with other designers and developers, and also for testing the UI with customers.

Miro

I like Miro for wireframing and low-fidelity prototyping.

Astro

I use Astro (aka Astro.js) to build fast, performant, and SEO-optimized websites.

Tailwind

I use Tailwind CSS to style websites efficiently.

Visual Studio Code

For creating and editing code.

GitHub

For version control and collaboration with others.

Apple

MacbookPro for hardware + various Apple apps (daily Notes app user here).

Netlify

For hosting and deploying websites.

ChatGPT

For quick answering questions and providing guidance.

Others tools I use include Microsoft Office apps, Google Workspace, Notion, Stripe, Square, Netlify, as well as Wordpress and Shopify. My goal is to use the best tools to create awesome designs and bring them to life.
