About
Background & Experience
I’m a hands-on production designer with more than 20 years of experience in packaging, editorial publishing, books, retail catalogs, and branded collateral. I specialize in taking approved creative direction and translating it into accurate, organized, production-ready files that meet brand, print, and manufacturing requirements.
My work includes complex InDesign page composition, Illustrator production artwork, packaging mechanicals and dielines, image placement, proofing, preflight, color management, and final delivery to print vendors. I am comfortable working within established design systems and guidelines, managing detailed revisions, maintaining file standards, and keeping multiple projects moving under deadline.
I work closely with designers, art directors, editors, writers, printers, and vendors to ensure that every final file is on-brand, on-spec, and ready for production. While I have led production workflows and coordinated teams, I remain most engaged by the hands-on work: solving layout details, building clean files, checking accuracy, and delivering reliable finished assets.
