FastPencil — Creative Lead
At FastPencil, a self-publishing platform, I served as Creative Lead — responsible for the visual identity, design systems, and marketing creative across the product and brand. I directed the look and feel of the platform and all customer-facing materials, working cross-functionally with product, marketing, and engineering teams.
My work included establishing the brand design system used across the web application, marketing site, email campaigns, and sales materials. I oversaw the production of all marketing assets and maintained brand consistency across channels as the platform scaled.
This role required balancing hands-on design work with creative direction — reviewing and guiding output from contractors and collaborating closely with marketing leadership to align creative with campaign strategy and business goals.
